Privacy
A plain-language summary of what ClinConnect stores, who can see it, and how long we keep it. This page describes how the product actually behaves; it is not the formal privacy policy.
What we store
We store what a clinical placement needs in order to happen, and not more.
- Account details: your name, email address, and role.
- Student profile: phone number, date of birth, address, program and enrolment details, specialty interest, and the biography you choose to write.
- Emergency contact: the name, relationship, and phone number you provide.
- Compliance documents: the files you upload against a requirement, with their issue and expiry dates.
- Placement activity: applications, logged hours, evaluations, and messages exchanged in the platform.
Who can see it
Access follows the placement relationship. Your school sees the students enrolled in its programs. A clinical site sees the students who apply to or are placed with it. A preceptor sees the students they supervise. Nobody outside those relationships can load your record.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Placement records — applications, verified hours, and evaluations — are the evidence a school relies on to confirm a student completed a rotation, so they are retained for as long as your school's programs need them.
You can update or correct your profile at any time from your account page.
Questions and requests
If you want to know what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, get in touch and we will walk through it with you. If your school administers your account, we may need to involve them.
