Terms of Service
What ClinConnect provides and what we ask of the people using it. The binding service agreement is issued separately — see the note at the foot of this page.
What the service is
ClinConnect is software for arranging and administering clinical placements. It connects students, the schools that enrol them, the clinical sites that host them, and the preceptors who supervise them, and it keeps the requirements, hours, and evaluations for each placement in one record.
We provide the platform. We are not a party to the placement itself, we do not employ or supervise students, and we do not guarantee that any application results in a placement.
Accounts
An account belongs to one person and should not be shared. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in, so keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
School and clinical site accounts act on behalf of their organisation. Whoever administers those accounts is responsible for who they invite and what access they grant.
Using the platform
Use it for the purpose it exists for: arranging, running, and documenting clinical placements.
- Upload documents that are genuine and belong to the student they are filed under.
- Log hours you actually worked, and verify only hours you can attest to.
- Keep information you see about other people inside the placement relationship that gave you access to it.
- Do not attempt to reach records outside your role, or to disrupt the service for others.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the platform available, but it may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Features change as the product develops; we will give notice before removing something your programs depend on.
